This is a second working paper in a series of on Decarbonising Public Transport in Hong Kong. View part 1 here
This paper arises from discussions of the Environmental Interest Group (EIG) of the Inter-Modal Transport Data Sharing Programme at the University of Hong Kong (funded by the Innovation Technology Fund), one of three such IGs.
The centrepiece of the programme is the Data Trust at the HKU for analysing shared, anonymised and aggregated data from transport operators in and around Exchange Square PTI as a proof-of-concept. The environmental impact of tailpipe emissions is one of the areas of analysis, and what can be done to reduce them.
